This is the Privacy Policy outlines for Mintiers Financial Ltd ("we", "our" or "the Company") practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at www.mintiersfinancial.co.uk ("Site") or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: "Users"). We are Mintiers Financial Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in (and subject to the laws of) England and Wales with registration number 11124185.  Our registered office is 6th Floor, Vantage London Great West Road, Brentford, London, England, TW8 9AG.

We take your privacy seriously and use your personal data as further explained in this Privacy Policy. We are the “controller” of the personal data you provide to us.

What information do we collect?
We collect two types of data and information from Users. 

The first type of information is unidentified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a User(s), which may be made available or gathered via your use of the Site (“Non-personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of a User from which the Non-personal Information was collected. Non-personal Information which is being collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language preference, access time, etc.) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site (e.g. pages viewed, online browsing, clicks, actions, etc.).

The second type of information Personal Information, which is individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable effort identify an individual. Such information includes:

• Identity and Contact Data: includes first name, last name, email address, username or similar identifier we collect when you create an account with us, give feedback or leave a review.
• Marketing and Communications Data: includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and any third parties and your communication preferences. Where you have given consent, we use your personal data to contact you about how we can help you find products and services.
• Technical Data: may include internet protocol (IP) address, your login data and any technology on the devices you use to access the website and/or app.

• Usage Data: may include information about how you use our website, products and services.

If you contact us by telephone, we may make notes in relation to your call for training and service improvement purposes, to comply with our legal obligations and to be able to deal with any dispute or defence of a claim which may arise in the course of us providing our products and services to you. We will store the data in line with our retention policy.

1. Right to be informed - Receive confirmation as to whether or not personal information concerning you is being processed and access your stored personal information, together with supplementary information. 
2. Right of access Receive a copy of personal information you directly volunteer to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. 
3. Right to rectification Request rectification of your personal information that is in our control.  You are entitled to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
4. Right to erasure Request erasure of your personal information. This is not a general right to erasure; there are exceptions.
5. Right to object to processing Object to the processing of personal information by us.  You have the right to object to us processing your personal data for our legitimate business interests or for direct marketing purposes (including in each case any related profiling).
6. Right to data portability Request to restrict processing of your personal information by us.
7. Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the ICO.

Retention
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable opportunity. Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations. 

We may rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.  We securely erase your personal data from our systems when it is no longer needed.
How do we receive information about you?
We receive your Personal Information from various sources:
• When you voluntarily provide us with your personal details in order to register on our Site;
• When you use or access our Site in connection with your use of our services;
• From third-party providers, services and public registers (for example, traffic analytics vendors).

How is the information used? With whom do we share the information?

• To conduct automated decision-making and profiling We may use technology to track your use of our website, products and services to help us build a profile of your preferences. What this means for you is that you are more likely to receive direct marketing and promotional offers that are tailored to your specific preferences, based on your previous activity.  If you don’t agree with an automated decision that our technology has made in relation to you, you can contact us.

Failure on our part to make a report where we have knowledge, or reasonable grounds for suspicion, would constitute a criminal offence

Who we share your data with
We may share your personal data to our suppliers who perform certain business services for us and act as processors of your personal data on your behalf.

We and our trusted partners use cookies and other technologies in our related services, including when you visit our Site or access our services.

We use a tool which is based on the Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about your use of the Site. The tool collects information such as how often users access the Site, which pages they visit when they do so, etc. The tool does not collect any Personal Information and is only used by our Site hosting and operating service provider to improve the Site and services.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to present our contents correctly and make them graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font. 
• Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

Third-party collection of information
Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent you disclose your information to other parties or sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each third party that you choose to disclose information to. 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, nor to individuals whom we do not employ or manage, including any of the third parties which we may disclose information to as set out in this Privacy Policy. 

How do we safeguard your information?
We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information. We employ industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the information we collect and retain, and prevent unauthorised use of any such information, and we require any third party to comply with similar security requirements, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. To respect your right to privacy, within such marketing materials we provide you with the means to opt out of receiving further marketing offers from us. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your email address or telephone number from our marketing distribution lists.

Social Networking Links
On our website we use links to social networking sites - Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and LinkedIn. When you click on these links these sites are likely to be collecting information about your internet behaviour and website visiting patterns by setting off one or more of their own cookies. In some cases these external sites will be registering the fact that you are visiting the pages of Mintiers Financial, even if you don't click on their links, you still find yourself logged into their services such as Google and Facebook. Mintiers Financial is not responsible for the data generated by or processed by such third parties. Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section.
